Human Metapneumovirus belongs to the Paramyxoviridae family. It was recently identified in the China in 2024 and is known to cause respiratory infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

 

About HMPV:

 

1.     SPREADING-  It spreads through nasal droplets and man to man also. It can  be spread by touching the infected one's cloth or things  without taking any security.

2.     SYMPTOMS-  It has several symptoms like-

·         COUGH

·         HIGH FEVER

·         LOOSE MOTION

·         RESPIRATORY PROBLEM

·         BREATHING PROBLEM

·         CHEST PAIN

·         NO GAIN OF TASTE OR SMELL.

 

3.    TEST- Doctor or hospital will take the saliva and then test in laboratory either it is positive or negative.

4.    TREATMENT- It has no specific treatment, treatment of viral fever can be done. Antibiotic can be used in this case. Patient should be hospitalized as soon as possible.

5.    CAUTION- ''Caution is better than cure'' to protect yourself from this virus use-

·         MASK IN OUTSIDE.

·         KEEP DISTANCE OF 2 YARDS.

·         WASH UR HANDS,LEGS,FACE WITH SOAPS AFTER COMING FROM OUTSIDE.

·         AVOID TO WEAR SAME CLOTH IN HOUSE AND OUTSIDE.

·         USE SANITIZER.

 

·         SITUATION- Till now this virus not break out in the world or any country . And there is 80% chance to recover.But it can be dangerous as Covid-19 outbreak.
